Proper management vital for profit making
Given the policy framework and proper management
the public sector could takeover the entire plantation sector and

Program to increase gem, jewellery exports
The National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA)
is exploiting new markets to restore the declining exports in the
main markets of Sri Lanka. Acting Deputy Director General of the
Authority Ajith Perera said that the authority will launch market
promotion programs in Russia, India and the Middle East soon.
