Japan pledge to invest in North and East

President, Sri Lanka-Japan Investment Promotion (SLJIP), Dr. M.G.M.S. Zurfick at a media briefing in Colombo yesterday said a large number of Japanese investors last week granted their pledge to invest in the Northern and Eastern provinces before the end of this year. "According to information, received by us during the past few months, our organisation is of the view that the on going war situation in the Northern District will come to an end before long and the prevailing atmosphere will immensely help Japanese multi-million investors to start their business activities here.
