Protest in London

A group of Sri Lankans yesterday staged a massive protest opposite the British Prime Minister’s official residence at No: 10, Downing Street, London against the appointment of former Defence Secretary Des Browne as a special envoy to Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, an LTTE supporter who tried to set himself on fire in front of the protesters was nabbed by the British Police.
