champions at the Nugegoda Inter-Schools Circuit Athletic Meet
held at Ananda Sastralaya grounds in Kotte.

Karunarathna and Setavya Mudalige emerged champions in the Nugegoda
Inter-Schools' Circuit Educational Division Athletic Championships held
at Ananda Sastralaya grounds, Kotte recently.
Participating in the under 11 age group, Mindu karunarathna emerged
under 11 girls champion, winning three events - High Jump 1.12 metres,
75 metres 9.08 seconds and 100 metres 16.04 seconds.
Then in the under 17 girls events, Setavya Mudalige of Vidura College
won the 100 metres 12.09 seconds, she also won the 200 metres in 26.07
seconds and made it three wins when she won long jump event 15 feet 6
inches. Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte won the boys championships while Sri
Jayawardenapura Maha Vidyalaya won the girls championships. There were
events for boys girls in the under 20, u. 18, u-17, u.15, u.14 and u.11.
