Career guidance exhibition launched
The Nalanda Junior Old Boys Association (NJOBA) launched the `Future
Minds 2009', educational and career guidance exhibition at a ceremony
held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel on Tuesday.
The exhibition is held for the fourth consecutive year and is
expected to attract over 100 educational and higher educational
institutions from across the world.
Future Minds aims to provide a gateway for those seeking higher
educational qualifications by facilitating communication among students
to effectively plan their careers.
President, NJOBA, Sugath Nagahawatte said the objective of the
exhibition is to prepare the Sri Lankan student community for the highly
competitive global job market.
He said in keeping with the theme of the exhibition `No one left
behind' student will be assisted to select the higher educational path
best suited to them.
Students from universities in Australia, UK, USA, Japan Malaysia, New
Zealand, Russia China and India are expected to participate in the
exhibition which will be held from June
19-21 at the BMICH. (LF)
