Appointed Chief Sanghanayaka

Viharadhipati of Moratuwa Horethuduwa Sanghikarama Purana Vihara, Ven. Udugama Wimalakiththi Thera, has been appointed the Chief Sanghanayaka of Raigam, Hewagam Pasyodun Korales by the Mahanayaka of the Malwatte Chapter Ven. Thibbotuwawe Sri Sumangala Thera recently.

Founder of Horethuduwa Gnanawimala Foundation, Ven. Wimalakiththi Thera is also the President of the Panadura North Sasanarakshaka Mandalaya and viharadhipati of Horethuduwa Sanghikarama, Gorakana PuranaKande Vihara, Wattalpola Siriniwasarama and Samanpura Buddhist Centre.

Educated at Vidyalankara Pirivena, Kelaniya and Kelaniya University he had held the post of Principal of several schools prior to his retirement.
