All set for LG nominations in Jaffna, Vavuniya

District Secretaries have made arrangements to accept nominations for the local government elections in the Jaffna and Vavuniya districts. Nominations will be accepted from June 18-25. Assistant Elections Commissioner, Jaffna K. Kuhathasan said that the PLOTE, TULF, UNP, United Democratic Tamil Alliance and an Independent Group have already informed of their authorised agents.

UPFA General Secretary and Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said that the UPFA would contest all LG bodies in the Jaffna and Vavuniya districts.
