The stage is set for the return of the glittering pageant Ms Lanka 2009 Beauty for a Cause in all its splendour. The Technique International Vocational Training Centre together with the Sunday Observer are once again on the search to crown a beauty worthy of carrying the title Ms Lanka. So all you beautiful ladies over 18 years of age here’s your chance to make those youthful dreams you treasured become a glitzy reality. If you are natural born beauty then you have no worries.

But if you need to shape up, now’s the time to do it. Without any delay fill in the published form and send it off pronto. Ladies of any marital status with a Sri Lankan citizenship could apply.

This annual event Ms Lanka 2009 - Beauty for a Cause is in its 15th successive year and its aim according to Gwendoline Kuhatheva is to enhance the lives of children with disabilities and enhance their different abilities and bring joy into their lives. Together with her team of volunteers from Technique International they work towards the uplift of the lives of women.

The colourful event Ms Lanka 2009 is scheduled to be held in October 2009. If you missed out on last year’s contest who knows Lady Lucky is waiting to smile on you.
