Free warehouse space from Hayley's for IDP aid

Logiwiz, the third party logistics (3PL) arm of Hayleys Advantis has offered free warehouse space at its own modern warehouse complex at Thulhiriya for any international donor agencies and INGOs bringing in cargo for the benefit of the internally displaced people in resettlement camps or villages.

This offer by the country's leading cargo logistics group would be of immense value to donors since the setting up of logistics infrastructure in a foreign country, especially with short lead times, could be a major task, the company said.

This is one example of the multi-faceted humanitarian assistance extended by the Hayleys Group for the benefit of the displaced people in northern Sri Lanka, the Managing Director of Hayleys Advantis Omar Raban said.

"The full gamut of logistics services at our Group's disposal from International Freight, Customs clearance and Project Cargo Management to all types of local transportation will also be made available on special commercial terms for humanitarian aid consignments," Raban said.
