On July 4, Stigmata will rock to your hearts’ content with `Splitting
the Paradigm’ at the Punchi Theatre where two special guests will make
it a night to remember.
They will bring their share of sonic and ironic mayhem. Word from the
grapevine has it that this will possibly be the band’s last local gig
before the launch of one of the most anticipated metal albums in Asia so
keep your fingers crossed.
A special word from the Stig camp, “We’re setting up a great venue
with a killer vibe which is going to have fantastic acoustics. The
balcony and floor will be the main stage for those who love the `Pit’
and you know no one nails the sounds and lighting like Stigz!” People,
don’t forget that the last Punchi Theatre gig got massive reviews and
over 1,000 photographs posted on FB so do not miss this Stig gig! The
Wagger is Back! An official word from Milinda Batuvanthudave...that
Wagon Park dude is that he’s back. He said it officially on FB that,
“Just to let everyone know I’m back in the island. Expect good things
very soon!”
Bleed for your Passion! Tonight is the night all you rockers have the
chance to head bang. Featuring the likes of Hela metal band Funeral in
Heaven, Tantalising Tantrum, Maniac Merlock, Freaky Forsaken and
lavishly metal-laced and crazed LOA, make sure you make it to The Keg at
Excel World for some serious metal mayhem action.
The gig kicks off at around 3 p.m. and should be a fitting time to
chill and have your dose of head wallop on a sleazy Sunday.
Check out ‘Unleashed’ pictures by Thusitha Rajamuni! We publish some
random pics of the major gig `Unleashed’ that took place when Funeral in
Heaven, their brother band Fallen Grace, Unholy Sermon, Trojan Ark,
Karmic Sulphur and Magic Box Mix Up wreaked havoc at the Bishop’s
auditorium.
