Title winners to receive scholarships

The organisers of Ms Lanka 2009, Technique International announce that there is just one day more for the closing date for applications. So if you are wondering "gosh! what am I going to do, I have no time to post my application." Don't worry. Take your application personally to Technique International, 81/1, Horton Place, Colombo 7 and they will be happy to accept it and tell you what you have to do next.

Just imagine further good news is that Ms Lanka 2009 title winners will receive Scholarships for NVQ Level 3 and NVQ Level 4 of Hair Stylist and Beautician from Technique International - The School of Hair Design and Beauty Therapy.

The value of the scholarships are Rs. 30,000/= and Rs. 50,000/=. Technique International consider this a fitting award as Ms Lanka 2009 is in support of Scholarships for Vocational Training and asks others to offer more scholarships.

Contestants who have sent in their applications please note that next week after the interviews, contestants will start their training, grooming and learning the catwalk.

As an orientation programme for the contestants, on a lighter vein, it is planned to have a day of nail art, face painting and Mehendi. These workshops will be by a team of the organizers.
