HOCKEY: Ayeshani Vishwamitra of Mahamaya College, Kandy will captain
the Sri Lanka under 18 girls hockey team at the Second Asia Cup Hockey
Tournament that will be played in Shanghai, China from July 20 to 26.
Bedsides Sri Lanka, the other teams that will participate in the
tournament are: India, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Pakistan and hosts China.
There will be two groups in the tourney. Group 'A' will comprise Sri
Lanka, India, China and Thailand, while in group 'B' will have Korea,
Japan and Pakistan. |
