Mobitel partners Abans to expand customer reach

The National Mobile Service Provider, announced a partnership with Abans, which will facilitate Mobitel Bill payments and offer SMART reload facilities at all Abans outlets islandwide.

This partnership is of special significance as Abans was one of the first authorized dealers of Mobitel and both companies enjoy a business history of over fifteen years. With this agreement, Mobitel will enhance its reach through Abans' expansive presence in over 300 locations across the country with all transactions updated to the Mobitel data base immediately.

Abans, a well established company, plans to further expand its branch network across Sri Lanka and Mobitel aims to offer its products and services at all Abans outlets in order to provide added convenience to its customers.

Chief Executive Officer Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, Suren J. Amarasekara said, "Mobitel is pleased to partner with Abans.

This new partnership is a further strengthening of a partnership that began in the 90s. We are excited to embark on this journey with Abans that aims to provide an added dimension of convenience to Mobitel customers."
