Sachithra, Dinindu tons prop up Tamil Union

CRICKET: Opener Sachithra Serasinghe and Dinindu Jayatilleke scored
splendid centuries and put on 171 runs for the third wicket as Tamil
Union piled up a formidable 300 for 8 in their first innings on the
opening day of their SLC under 23 division one cricket tournament match
against the SSC which commenced at the P. Saravanamuttu Oval yesterday.

All rounder Malith Gunatilleke hit a fighting half century to help
Chilaw Marians SC reach 279 runs in their first innings on the opening
day of their SLC under 23 division one cricket tournament match against
Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club which commenced at Rifle Green
yesterday.
