The President Resort with 2050 rooms to be built in Kalpitiya will be
the benchmark in the hospitality industry.

operating in Kalpitiya, which will see an investment of US$100 mln.
Once the hotels are operational there will be 3455 additional rooms
which will cater to the target set by President Mahinda Rajapaksa to
attract 2.5 mln tourists a year to the country. He said that Sri Lanka
has come to the place where it should be with the dawn of peace as all
other requirements have been fulfilled which includes geography,
hospitality of the people. As the country is in the centre of Asia our
country will attract tourists from all over the world.
