Love is an ugly and terrible business practised by fools. It will

You sound very hurt. And can't even begin to understand what you are
going through. It's true love is a terrible business that would leave
you bleeding on the floor, with a broken heart. And true it will leave
you with nothing but, as you said few 'incredible memories'. If love is
so horrible why do you refer to the memories as 'incredible'.
The truth is you have loved and even if you could go back in time and
change it all, you wouldn't have it any other way. If your girlfriend
didn't love you, then it's her loss, not yours. And may be she doesn't
deserve you. Just remember you have loved and at the end that's all that
