Love is only a part…
Love is the most painful thing in the world. Those days I was doing
my A/Ls. I was in love with a boy my age who lives near our village. It
seemed he too was interested in me. My heart was filled with lots of
dreams about him. But he never expressed his love for me.
At the same time another boy was expecting my love but I was not
interested in him. You know the ultimate result. I became a victim of
Schizophrenia. I couldn’t do my exam. I had inborn beauty; I lost it
because of drugs. I completely lost it.
Now I am engaged in Horticulture, I even export Flowers. It heals my
soul. Life is a miracle and Love plays a powerful role in it. Love can
turn life upside down. So my advice is think that love is only a part of
life not the heart of life.

Dear ever loving lonely soul from Kandy,
I can totally relate to what you are saying. I know how hard it can
be losing someone you love. But it seems that in spite of all your
misfortunes you have been able to turn your life around. This is really
commendable.
It takes enormous strength for some one to overcome a psychological
condition and stand on ones own again. You have achieved much in life,
so although love is only a ‘part’ of life and not the ‘heart’ life as
you say it, don’t give up on love just yet.
You have conquered so much
in life. And I have no doubt you can do the same in love.

Love Lines
A morning flower
The morning sky
Reminds me
Her sobbing story.
She, a flower without colours
But full of sweet fragrance
I met her when she was alone.
When she was a child,
She offered him a yellow rose.
In the full flush of youth
She offered him the red rose.
Every glance of him gave her new hope
As Sunflower turns her face to the sun
To get new life.
She has the fragrance of Jasmine
But not the beauty of a rose.
Oh! God why did you do so?
What a pity!
He saw her thorns only
But not her fragrance.
Is love in beauty
Or beauty in love?
Why do people think, that
Beauty is on the face
But not in the heart?
Only roses have the right
to feel love?
Not a burnt flower like her!
But still she is in hope.
