Luminex awarded ISO certification

Luminex (Private) Limited, awarded ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System Certificate recently, by Det Norske Veritas (DNV),

The history of Luminex goes back to 1986 which was the year the company paved its corner stone and at present has placed on the top rung at par with few outstanding construction companies in the Island.

Awarding of ISO Certification to the Director of Luminex, Ruwan Fernando by Operations Manager Certifications Services Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Colombo, Vevekananthan Kulasingham.

The Luminex tree, firmly rooted in the Sri Lanka's business field and spread out its branches in Telecommunication, Electrical & Civil Construction sectors in addition to its Sister Companies, which excel in Mini Hydro Power Generation, Property Development, Super-marketing & FMCG Distribution. The success of Luminex lies mainly on its quality consciousness, pleasant work environment, vision, innovation, honesty and the dynamism of its dedicated work force.

Luminex contributed their services in the New Generation Networks (NGN) and cable laying for public security system networks, Development of Public Switch Telecom Networks (PSTN), installation of New Subscriber connections and Rehabilitation of Outside Telecom Plants (OSP) etc. Luminex is proud to be a reliable and trustworthy contractor for the Giants of Telecommunication field in Sri Lanka.

Luminex, one of the few electrical specialists in the Island, possesses years of experience in High Tension (HT) Construction work such as laying of underground power transmission cables, Installation of Outdoor Switch yards and Indoor Switch Gear etc. in addition to the experience gained in the Low Tension Electrical field. Luminex also recently ventured into the civil construction field and is advancing rapidly to be in the forefront of the industry.
