Minister to present report on expat workers

A high-powered delegation led by Foreign Employment Promotion and
Welfare Minister Keheliya Rambukwella left for Geneva yesterday to
present a primary report on Sri Lanka's expatriate workers to the
international community and to apprise them on Sri Lanka's policies on
the welfare of expatriate workers, Ministry sources said.
The Minister will address the international community on the rights
of expatriate workers and their problems after submitting the report
today. Minister Rambukwella will brief the media and foreign
representatives tomorrow regarding the report. The discussion with the
international community will result in providing a healthy atmosphere to
expatriate workers, the sources said.
