Minister to present report on expat workers

A high-powered delegation led by Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Minister Keheliya Rambukwella left for Geneva yesterday to present a primary report on Sri Lanka's expatriate workers to the international community and to apprise them on Sri Lanka's policies on the welfare of expatriate workers, Ministry sources said.

The Minister will address the international community on the rights of expatriate workers and their problems after submitting the report today. Minister Rambukwella will brief the media and foreign representatives tomorrow regarding the report. The discussion with the international community will result in providing a healthy atmosphere to expatriate workers, the sources said.
