NDB reaches to Batticaloa

NDB Bank successfully launched its operations in Batticaloa, a central point in the Eastern Province recently with the presence of NDB Bank's Head of Retail Banking and Marketing Indrajit Wickramasinghe and Head of Emerging Corporates and Specialised Commercial Markets Raj Aboobucker. To grace the occasion the Mayor of Batticaloa Mrs. Sivageetha Prabaharan and the Deputy Mayor of Batticaloa A. George Pillai attended the opening ceremony of NDB Bank Batticaloa branch. A large gathering of people were also present to witness the opening. This is the 43rd branch in NDB bank's widely spread network of branches and is a key component of the Bank's expansion plans into the North and East regions of Sri Lanka.

Speaking at the ceremony, NDB Bank Head of Retail Banking and Marketing Indrajit Wickramasinghe said, NDB Bank made the decision to open our branch in Batticaloa as a further step of making our presence felt in the North and East. Batticaloa is our second branch to be opened in the Eastern Province, following our branch in Ampara.

The NDB Bank Batticaloa branch will be based at No.42/1, Trincomalee Road, Batticaloa.
