Oh, I’m so precious!
I cannot boast of my pedigree as
I am not a creature living on earth. But the people I belonged to were
rich aristrocrats, wealthy businessmen who spell the word very loud. My
kith and kin are from, wealthy countries from the mountains of
Kilimanjaro, Gold coast, Kenya Johannesburg and so on. They own mineral
rich huge mines employ unskilled labourers to do excavations and hunt
for their fortunes. Some succeed and some fail. Those who succeed
becomes trillion aires.
During an excavation, they found me amidst masses of dark rock, and
high piles of loosened granite of every form and size. I was pulled out
from a hundred feet deep pit along with other fantastic forms of debris
and rocks.
It would perhaps be impossible to describe the peculiar sensation
which I experienced from my long stay underground. It was a big relief.
On arrival two muscular men with black moustache and side burns, and big
forearms took charge of me and was taken to give a complete shower.
Every bit of mud was removed from my body and well cleaned.
That moment I felt like a snowhite prince. Next I was escorted to a
room with plenty of air blown from all corners. It didn’t take me long
to sense that I was to get fully stripped with my skin peeled
completely.
I went through so much of agony, that I felt fatigue and drowsy.
However, I had to undergo this routine that moment. After my skin
operation I was taken to an expert cutte who was seated in a tiny dingy
room dressed in the fashion of his early ancestors. He had a slim figure
wore a silk turban had a curled moustache, with a shovel draped around
his body.
He gave an inquiring look but without any question on the subject, he
straight away got on to the job. With his glasses on, he went through
piercing and polishing and turned me to a shapely figure.
By now I looked pretty and elegant. I was in high spirits. After a
few days I was introduced to an expert craftsman who tatooed exquisite
oriental designs on my body. I was hooked to a bracelet with many
intricate designs, along with other companions. My new found friends
took looked beautiful with slim bodies and hips some were known as
diamonds, bluesapphires, emeralds and rubies.
Everyone seems to know everyone else. For several days we remained in
a long glass top showcase in a shopping mall in the heart of the city.
By now I was in high demand suitable to be fetched by any suitor. One
fine evening a beautiful elegantly dressed lady extended her arms and I
clutched at them like a bird. I was not an educated person, but I had
charm, grace, beauty and poise, to rub shoulders with royals, and
aristrocrats. I was proud and happy in the best of company.
Finally, I went to live with my new found partner. This lady was
fabulously wealthy with many acres of exotic green land with papaya,
mango and succulent squashy fruits. She belonged to the wealthiest class
dressed in costly silks, drove elegant coaches used the finest porcelain
on their tables, and adored themselves with gold chains and other
jewellery, turned out by expert craftsmen in the island of Sri Lanka.
