First innings win for PWC

CRICKET: Prince of Wales College gained first innings victory over
St. Peter's College in their inter-school under-19 cricket match played
at Moratuwa.
Resuming at 169 for 5 Cambrians were all out for 285 runs with Sithum
Fernando making 70 runs. Angelo Emmanuel bagged 4 for 82 for Peterites.
In their second essay St. Peter's bounced back and at the close they
were 265 for 3 with Shehan Fernando scoring a sparkling 109 runs with
twelve fours and six sixes and were associated in a third wicket
partnership of 105 runs with Denham Perera who made 72 runs.
SPC: 151 and 265 for 3 in 72 overs (Jasen Berenger 20, Shehan
Fernando 109, Denham Perera 72, Angelo Emmanuel 62 not out).
PWC: 285 in 78 overs (Sithum Fernando 70, Nuwantha Peiris 20, Tarindu
