125 years and Surf Excel Traffic
Lights also in the shortlist.
Both Lifebuoy and Sunlight ads were totally conceptualised and
produced by the Sri Lankan team of Lowe LDB. While the Surf Tvc was
adapted from Lowe India.
Lowe LDB CEO, Lilamani Dias Benson said, "We are proud that our work
captures the hearts and minds of Sri Lankans everywhere. It's because
they do, that these ads also win sales and marketshare.
We are particularly proud of the way Unilever trusts and inspires us.
And the way clients know us as the agency that gets results!" The
SLIM-Nielson People's Awards are unique in that they reflect the
people's choice. Winning is not based on the verdict of a panel of
jurists: it is decided by men and women of all ages and from all walks
of life. They are the jury, and it is their personal favourites that win
the day.
The People's Awards criteria uses the findings of a structured
questionnaire that was, this year, sent to seven provinces across Sri
Lanka. Thirty categories of brands, personalities and organisations were
recognised by the people this year. Lowe LDB's achievements wins come
hard on the heels of the Agency's success at the Effies Awards, where
they secured a 100% win record. |
