Union Assurance opens branches in Mannar and Thambuttegama

Union Assurance opened two branches in Mannar and Thambuttegama.

The Mannar branch is at Pallimunai Road, Uppukulam North, Mannar and the Thambuttegama branch is at Rajina Junction, Thambuttegama.

Union Assurance entered the Northern market in 2002, and was the first private sector insurer to commence operations in Jaffna and Point Pedro.

With the opening of the Mannar and Thambuttegama Branches, Union Assurance will further strengthen its position in the North and North Central regions. With the opening of the Mannar Branch, Union Assurance covers all corners of the island.

General Manager - Marketing and Distribution Rukman Weerarathne said that during March they opened three branches in three key regions, and this will be one of our expansion strategies to penetrate the market and take forward the promise of trust.
