'Speed Kids' the water for kids

Speed Water System (Pvt) Ltd, the company which brought novelty to the bottled water industry launched their latest product Speed Kids - an innovation keeping children in mind. Speed Kids is for the little ones - from infants to teenagers.

Managing Director Nishantha Delgoda hands over the first bottle of Speed Kids to Chairman Nalin Delgoda at the launch .

MD Nishantha Delgoda said that generally PET bottles were soft and was harmful, especially when kept inside vehicles and exposed to sun and heat.

The Speed Kids bottle is made with a very thick material and manufactured with 100 percent reverse osmosis purified water.

The product is made with the focused attention of their Bangladeshi engineer and a limited quantity is produced and packed daily.

It is transported in special vehicles (not on lorries) and distributed to the agents, said Delgoda. My motto is to make water available and affordable to all.

Our water is priced at Rs. 165 per twenty litre bottle.

Speed Water has 17 Franchise shops in Colombo and its suburbs.

A range of products Speed glass, 'Speed pack and Speed cup will be made available soon.

The water has been manufactured using a natural ITP optimised filtration process by running the most advanced reverse osmosis plant and also by being controlled through a 0.2 mm micron filtration process and exposed to an high capacity ultra-violet source to eliminate bacterial and other viral organisms. Speed is ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 22000 and SLS approved. Speed is a member of the International Bottled Water Association (IWA) and Indian Water Works (IWW).
