Dental unit for President's College, Embilipitiya

Hemas Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd., in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Colombo Fort recently donated a Dental Unit to President's College, Embilipitiya, formerly known as Embilipitiya Central College.

The unit will be of great use to all since this area is known to have many dental hygiene problems due to the high fluoride content in the water.

The Director of Regional Health, Ratnapura, has appointed a doctor and a nurse to the unit.

Their services will be available to the public every two weeks.

Managing Director Hemas Pharmaceuticals Sanjeewa Samaranayake said that being one of the largest pharmaceutical distribution companies in Sri Lanka, and a key stakeholder in the national healthcare of the country, Hemas is committed to enriching the lives of its customers and society at large.

Former President of the Rotary Club of Colombo Fort Kapila Dayaratne said they were pleased to partner this venture as it was of great value to the people living in the area. Building awareness about dental hygiene among the student population was a requirement and assured the club's continuous support in the future.
