Nayantara and Prabhu together!
It has been reported that Nayantara and Prabhu Deva have married in
secret and have already started living together in a house in Hyderabad.
Prabhu Deva declared his love for Nayantara recently after his recent
divorce from Latha with whom he has three children: Vishal, Aditya and
Rishi. Prabhu Deva will be seen in Engeyum Kadhal with Jayam Ravi and
Hansika Motwani that will finish filming this year!
Tamanna loves her folks!
Tamanna is now doing Thillalangadi with Jayam Ravi which is the Tamil
version of the Telugu film Kick. “I admire Ileana, but I am sure I can
pull it off in my own style”, she asserts.
In an industry where catfights are common, Tamanna is friendly with
her female colleagues. “I’m close to Poonam Bajwa, Vedika, Kajal,
Priyamani and Ileana. I share notes with them about their work. It keeps
me clued about the industry,” she said.
That 20-year-old Tamanna is chaperoned by her parents is not news,
but she says it has a huge plus point too: “My parents keep me grounded.
I work round the clock and they are my support system.” She’s now doing
her BA and says that she has been able to balance both studies and
work”.
Madhavan in Jhootha Hi Sahi
After an impressive directorial debut in the form of Jaane Tu...Ya
Jaane Na, all eyes are now on Abbas Tyrewala’s next outing as a
director- Jhootha Hi Sahi. The film stars John Abraham and Pakhi in lead
roles with a host of supporting actors such as Raghu Ram, Manasi Scott
and Anahita Nair.
However, besides them, there is a surprise element. One would also
get to see R. Madhavan and Nandana Sen in guest appearances in the film.
In fact, there were talks that even Kajol would be seen in the film.
What’s more, the film’s official website also mentions her name as
part of the cast. However, when we contacted producer Madhu Mantena, he
confirmed Maddy and Nandana Sen’s presence in the film but denied the
rumour that Kajol is in the film.

Matt the punching bag!
Adding a fourth child to the family this fall, Matt Damon says he’s
happy to be used as a punching bag for wife Luciana to release her
discomfort as they head into the home stretch.
“We’re in the third trimester and basically I’m just dodging punches
right now from my wife,” Damon told at the premiere of Hereafter at the
Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday. “That means I have to
work on my defence and I never know when a left hook or a right cross is
going to come. She’s completely over me and over being pregnant.” Lucy
may not find him so appealing due to fatigue and back pains, but the
Invictus star, 39, is sympathetic to what she’s going through.
“She’s been a great sport,” says Damon. “She looks amazing and she’s
taking great care of herself.” Already a full house with three daughters
- Alexia, 11, from Luciana’s prior marriage, Isabella, 4, and Gia, 2 -
Damon says he’s indebted to the missus for having their children
together in such a short period of time. “She’s been pregnant basically
for more than half of the last five years and she’s been nursing the
other half so I’ve definitely asked about as much as I can from my
wife,” he laughs. “Now I’m all hers!”
Keenu the cowboy?
Keanu Reeves has reportedly admitted he doesn’t know what’s going on
with Cowboy Bebop.
The Matrix star is expected to play the lead role in the big-screen
adaptation of the Japanese anime series, but is reported to have said
things are up in the air right now. “I haven’t heard anything back -
they turned in the script and it was very expensive, it would cost,
like, half a billion dollars to make that script, so I don’t know where
it’s at right now,” he told media.
He is keeping his fingers crossed for samurai film, 47 Ronin, though,
to be directed by Carl Rinsch. “We are hopefully going to make 47 Ronin,”
he added. “I think it’s a creeping express train, which means that
they’ve done pre-production, we’re still working on the script, they’ve
done pre-visualisation, and they’re doing location scouting. It’s ready
to go. It’s a bullet train in waiting.” Keanu, who next appears in rom-com
Henry’s Crime, has been filming Generation Um. “Two days in and it’s
going great,” he revealed. “It takes place over 24 hours.
You follow this character named John. It’s basically the relationship
between him and two call girls.
He’s the driver and he ends up stealing a video camera and hanging
with them in an apartment. It’s kind of about the interpersonal dynamics
of this family.”
Keenu the cowboy?
Julia’s favourite ice cream Legions of lovelorn single women are
following in the footsteps of the actor Julia Roberts and flocking to
the tiny ice-cream parlour in Italy that features in her new movie, Eat,
Pray, Love.
Based on the book by the American author Elizabeth Gilbert, the film
is the true story of Gilbert’s quest for self-discovery by spending a
year travelling in Italy, Indonesia and India, trying to recover from a
bruising divorce, a rebound romance and a bout of depression.
The Gelateria di San Crispino has been inundated with women clutching
copies of the book.
But it is not just Rome that is benefiting from the appeal of the
search for emotional and spiritual renewal. Romantic locations in India
and Bali have also had an increase in visitors.
Thousands of women have taken to heart Roberts’ declaration at the
beginning of the film: “I used to have this appetite for food, for life,
and it’s just gone. I want to go some place where I can marvel at
something. I’m going to Italy, India, and I’m going to end the year in
Bali.” Gilbert describes in her book how she went to the San Crispino
gelateria three times a day as she explored sights such as the Villa
Borghese park and Piazza del Popolo. And her love of the place has been
passed on to her fans.
“We’ve had lots of foreign women coming in after having read the
book, or even with it in their hands,” said Pasquale Alongi, who owns
the gelateria with his brother Giuseppe. “Julia Roberts came here last
year during filming. She was as cultured as she was beautiful.”

Mahesh and Lara get engaged!
Finally, the former Miss Universe and sizzling hot babe of Bollywood
Lara Dutta and tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi got engaged a week ago in New
York City where Mahesh was visiting for the US Open.
Both of them have deep romantic involvement with each other. On the
micro blogging site ‘Twitter’, the couple announced their engagement and
confirmed their relationship. Bhupathi tweeted, “So, Lara Dutta and me
got engaged in NY (New York) last week. It’s official now,” the tennis
star, who is in Chennai for a Davis Cup playoff tie against Brazil,
wrote on his page.
After sometime, Mahesh Bhupathi started receiving best wishes for his
life ahead. Previously, Lara Dutta had long living relationship with
model turned actor Kelly Dorjee and was also linked with another model
turned actor Dino Morea for some period of time.
While Mahesh Bhupathi was married with the ex-model Shweta Jaishankar
after a long affair with model Anupama Varma. Bhupathi and model Shweta
Jaishankar separated after their six-year marriage in July, 2010. In an
interview, Shweta had blamed Bhupathi that he had relationship with Lara
before their divorce.
Shahid and Priyanka?
Shahid Kapoor is currently, making gossip news getting linked to
Priyanka Chopra. Shahid and Priyanka have spawned murmurs of
togetherness after they bumped onto each other on the sets of ‘Kaminey’.
However, the duo have stayed mum about their relationship and often
evaded the paparazzi. When quizzed about her hook-up with Shahid,
Priyanka dodged the questions citing, “I have decided to talk about my
professional life only. I don’t talk about my personal life anymore.
Yes, the media has a right to ask...but I have always denied it and
will keep denying it.” However, she calls herself God’s blessed child
and professes her faith on the Almighty.
She has laid down some parameters for her boyfriend and potential
husband. They are honesty, sincerity, care, love and a great sense of
humour. So, in case, you are endowed with these virtues, you hold a
bright chance of falling into her good books. As Piggy unzips her lips
about her groom, she said, “He should be sincere, honest and he should
love me unconditionally... and yes, he should be funny.” Has Shahid got

Preity pretty at heart!
At a time when the charitable activities of stars are carefully
coordinated with their film releases, Preity Zinta has proved to be an
exception. The star has not only adopted 34 orphan girls from an
orphanage in Irishikesh but sources also say that Zinta has also ensured
that there is a steady flow of money to meet all their expenses since
the past one-and-a-half years. She has sponsored their food, studies and
even clothes for 34 girls.
“The girls think that she is Godsent and have made it a habit to pray
for her everyday.
Preity also maintains a line of communication with them no matter
where she is,” says a source close to the Mother Miracle school in
Rishikesh from where Zinta has “conditionally adopted” the 34 girls. |
