ambassadors/High Commissioners in promoting Sri Lanka is to convince
their designated countries of the stability and peaceful environment in
Sri Lanka. They should make every effort to ensure that there is an
influx of tourists to Sri Lanka.
He also stressed the need to promote exports from Sri Lanka to those
countries to help achieve the US$ 20 billion target by year 2020
envisaged by the Government.
Chairman EDB Janaka Ratnayake briefed them on the Expo Fair to be
held in March 2012.
