SPORT RALLY: Dharmaraja College, Kandy 1991 Group will organise a
Motor Sports Rally for the second year in succession on July 16. The
starting point will be the roof top of the Kandy Municipality car park.
Last year, Roshantha Weerasinghe won the event with Rukshan
Muthumanne second and Mahesh Weerasinghe third. The team event was won
by Team Willies. From the profits of last year's rally, Dharmaraja have
constructed a fitness centre for the school, stated Manoj de Alwis -
President of the 1991 Group of Dharmaraja. The motor rally will be 60
k.m. in distance and only the first 50 competitors will be taken in for
competition.
