Park yesterday.
Colts CC: 403 for 5 decl and 234 for 8 decl (S. Kamileen 69, K.
Janith 98, Y. Abeykoon 4 for 62, P. Jayasinghe 2 for 48).
BRC: 109 (N. Vimukthi 20, I. Jayaratne 3 for 35, C. Peiris 2 for 17,
N. Rangika 2 for 17, D. Auwardt 2 for 6) and 1 for 2).
Middle order batsman Angelo Emmanuel hit a top score of 74 to give
Sri Lanka Air Force Sports Club a surprise first innings lead over
Ragama CC in their SLC under 23 Division One cricket tournament match
which continued at Rifle Green yesterday.
Ragama CC: 245 and 170 for 2 (S. Rangana 47, R. Buddhika 83 n.o, D.
Maduranga 27 n.o).
Air Force SC: 300 (S. Shaminda 34, A. Emmanuel 74, A. Gihan 30, N.

Opener Kithruwan Vithanage hit a sparkling 139 to put Tamil Union on
course to an outright victory over Moratuwa SC in their SLC under 23
Division One cricket tournament match which continued at Moratuwa
yesterday.
Moratuwa SC: 264 and 24 for 4 (D. Jayasinghe 2 for 3).
Tamil Union: 435 (K. Vithanage 139, D. Rajakaruna 60, S. Fernando 59,

Royal College moved closer towards winning the league title when they
defeated St. Peter's College 50-41 in a high scoring Singer inter school
under 20 Division One tournament match worked off at Bambalapitiya
yesterday.
The unbeaten Royal team who were trailing 21-24 at half time came
back magnificently and turned the game in their favour while collecting
their points from two goals, six tries and two penalties.
St. Peter's College who led for most of the time failed to add the
finishing touches as they surrendered in a hard fought battle while
collecting their points from three goals and four tries. (CD)
Science College delivered another tremendous blow as they brought
down S. Thomas' College by 31 points to nil in their Singer inter school
under 20 Division One league rugby tournament match worked off at Mount
Lavinia yesterday.
Science College after building up a nine nil lead at half time cut
loose in the second half and went on to collect their points from one

Dharmaraja College Kandy fired a last minute penalty to beat Wesley
College 25-23 in a thrilling Singer inter school under 20 Division One
league rugby tournament match worked off at Longden Place yesterday.
The Rajans who took a commanding 17-8 lead at half time went through
some anxious moments during the latter stages before adding the
finishing touches through one goal, three tries and one penalty.
Wesley College put up a gallant performance in the second half as
they came closer of pulling off the game while collecting their points
from one goal, two tries, one drop goal and one penalty.(CD)
H and FC powered their way to a comprehensive 48-15 victory over Sri
Lanka Army Sports Club in their Caltex inter club 'A' division league
rugby tournament match worked off at Galle Face yesterday.
The winners collected their points from five goals, two tries and one
penalty after having led 19-3 at half time. Army SC responded with one

Force Sports Club 27-22 in their Caltex inter club 'A' division league
rugby tournament match worked off at Katunayake yesterday.
The winners collected their points from three goals and two penalties
after having led 21-13 at half time. Air Force SC responded with two
tries and four penalties.
