Tamil Union in box seat

Tamil Union Sports Club amassed 435 runs in reply to Moratuwa Sports Club total of 264 and bagged four Moratuwa SC wickets for 24 runs and in the box seat at the end of day two in their Inter-club Division One Cricket Tournament match played at Tyronne Fernando Stadium. Kithruwan Vithanage hit up a brilliant 139 runs and ably supported by Denuwan Rajakaruna 60 and Shehan Fernando 59.

For the homesters Chamesh Fernando claimed 3 for 146 while Shivantha Kumara bagged 3 for 121.
