eSys introduces Cloud from Trend Micro

eSys Technologies, a distributor of computer components entered the software solutions market introducing Cloud Security Solutions from the Japan based Trend Micro Incorporated.

eSys Technologies, a subsidiary of EZY group of companies last week partnered with Trend Micro Incorporated, a global leader in Cloud Security solutions.

CEO eSys Technologies Shafraz Hamzadeen and National Sales Manager, SAARC Region, Trend Micro Bivash Chatterjee.

The Country Head, India and SAARC of Trend Micro, Amith Nath said, "Conventional security methods scan all items once it comes into the computer, whereas Cloud Security intercepts all incoming traffic, scans it externally in what is called the 'Cloud' and then rejects or allows the message or attachment as needed.

Since detecting and scanning of threats is done externally, Cloud Security solutions use less processing power from the computer and gives more real time security".

It creates a world safe for exchanging digital information with its Internet content security and threat management solutions for businesses and consumers.

"Pioneers in server security with over 20 years' experience, we deliver top-ranked client, server and cloud-based security that fits our customers' and partners' needs, stops new threats faster, and protects data in physical, virtualised and cloud environments.

Powered by the Trend Micro Smart Protection Network Cloud Security infrastructure, our industry-leading cloud-computing security technology, products and services, halt threats where they emerge, on the Internet, and are supported by over a 1,000 threat intelligence experts around the globe," Nath said.

The product range available from Trend Micro in Sri Lanka will include the Trend Micro Titanium 2011, which is Trend Micro's newest consumer security software that provides state of the art protection for consumers' data, delivered with optimal performance and ease of use. It stops viruses, spyware, and phishing attacks before they reach the consumer, his family or home office PC.

CEO eSys Technologies, Shafraz Hamzadeen said that the mission of eSys is to ensure that Sri Lankans get the best and latest technology as and when it is revealed to the world. eSys is now getting into solutions products as well, apart from their computer hardware product portfolio, and the partnership with security solutions from Trend Micro is the first step in this direction, he said.

He said that Trend Micro products will be the leader in the market within the next few months. "The quality of the products as well as the largest distribution network of eSys will help us to make Trend Micro security solutions the market leader," Hamzadeen said. GW
