Ninety-two dead in Oslo twin terrorist attacks
At least 92 people died in the twin terrorist
attacks in Norway on Friday, Norwegian police said yesterday. Both
attacks are believed to have been carried out by a 32-year-old
Norwegian identified as Anders Behring Breivik who was later
arrested.

Police warn motorists:
Don’t drive too close to ambulances, ministerial convoys
The City Traffic Police (CTP) yesterday warned
motorists to refrain from driving close behind ambulances and
ministerial convoys since it could cause accidents. According to the
CTP, some motorists and motor-cyclists were in the habit of driving
their vehicles close behind ambulances and ministerial convoys
thereby violating repeated police warnings.

Police seize 141 pornographic DVDs
The Walana Vice Squad seized a large number of
pornographic DVDs following a raid on a video parlour in Horana,
police Media Spokesman S. Prishantha Jayakody told the Sunday
Observer. Police seized 141 pornographic DVDs which had been
downloaded from the Internet to be sold among schoolchildren in the
Horana area.

Man arrested near Norway PM with knife
OSLO, July 23, (AFP) - Norwegian police arrested
a young man carrying a knife Saturday at a hotel where Prime
Minister Jens Stoltenberg was visiting survivors of a shooting
rampage that left 84 dead, broadcaster NRK said.
