Fonny shatters Ah-Know-Mah's dreams
Fonny has warned his better half Ah-Know-Mah against having any hopes
of entering politics. "What's all this talk that you are going to be a
Mayoral candidate for Colombo? Don't entertain any such hopes even
during my absence," he severely reprimanded Ah-Know-Mah. Following
Fonny's outburst, Ah-Know-Mah promptly issued a statement that she would
not contest.
Green Op leaders reject Love-Slave
Saa-jeet, the Love-Slave who 'summoned' Green Provincial Councillors
for an 'unofficial' meeting to lobby against Ra-Blue, failed to attract
even a single You-En-Pee PC leader. Opposition leaders of all Provincial
Councils from the You-En-Pee, boycotted Sa-jeet's meeting at the Club
that is Eighty on Friday.
Poor attendance at 'rebel' meeting
Shameless Ka-Roo, who once crossed over to the Governing types in his
lust for a ministerial post, attended Friday's meeting with high hopes.
However, the meeting attracted less than one-third of Green PC members.
Most of those who turned up for the meeting felt it was an official
You-En-Pee meeting. Ka-Roo, who is now day-dreaming of becoming the
leader of the Elephant Party, little knows that Love-Slave is attempting
to 'use' him as a scapegoat.
Greens reject Bell Boys call
Knowing only too well that their vote base would be further eroded at
the final leg of the LG polls, the Bell Boys last week attempted to
field common candidates for certain bodies including the Colombo
Municipal Council. "No way! We experienced much bitterness at the last
presidential elections," said Atta-Leader and poor Anura Prince returned
empty-handed.
