More pro-Tiger candidates at Canadian provincial polls

Canada's provincial elections scheduled in the first week of October are allegedly dominated by pro LTTE groups operating in different guises.

The Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Toronto has written to the Canadian Foreign Ministry in a bid to draw its attention to this disturbing development. Contacted by the Sunday Observer, the Sri Lankan High Commissioner in Toronto Chitranganee Wagiswara said, "We have been expressing our concerns to the Canadian Government on candidates whose credentials are in question."
