No changes in voting in ‘Popular’ Contests

RUGBY: CR&FC skipper Dushan Lewke remained at the top, polling 31,307 votes to Navy’s fullback Dev Anand who is placed second with 30,194 votes at the end of count number 12 in the Sunday Observer/Caltex Most Popular Rugger Player and Most Popular Rugger Club competition 2011.

The fight for the first place between former title holders, Lewke and Marija and Navy’s reliable place kicker Dev Anand make the competition a three cornered contest. In the team competition Kandy SC is sailing smoothly with their closest rival CR&FC polling 29,162 to Kandy’s 31,904.
