Sanduni and Kasuni - outstanding players

Gampaha were picked as best players at the Western Province
National School Games Table Tennis.

Table Tennis: Gampaha Rathnavali Vidyalaya did well to beat Devi
Balika Vidyalaya 3 matches to 2 in the Table Tennis encounter at the
Western Province National School Games. The tournament was held at Sri
Sumangala, Panadura.
In the second encounter, however, Gampaha Rathnavali lost to Gampaha
Holy Cross 3 matches to 2.
Sanduni Anuthara and Kasuni Prasadini, both of Rathnavali, Gampaha
were picked as the best players. They were coached by Lalith Perera -
the former national table tennis players.
Rathnavali Gampaha Principal Mrs. H. Jayawardena takes a lot of
interest in the sports activities of the girls and intense training has
got them satisfactory results.
