Hay-Mah intimidates rambuttan vendor
A rambuttan vendor had a nerve-wracking experience when Hay-Mah,
mother of Saa-Jeet, the Love-Slave bought rambuttans on Thursday night.
While she was selecting only the big fruits and casting aside even the
slightly smaller rambuttans, the vendor pleaded with her not to do so.
"Do you know who I am, if you try to be too smart, I will throw you out
of this place," she said.
Soo-me to emulate You-En-Pee leader?
Soo-me, the One-sa's statement last week that there was no internal
party crisis came in for heavy criticism at the Bell Party's politburo.
"You jumped the gun. It is now obvious that we have serious differences.
You are acting like the You-En-Pee leader. The stark fact is that we
have serious problems among ourselves and must settle those without
issuing press statements," Lull-Khan said.
Lull-Khan takes on leader
..... but Soo-me didn't give up. "You now boast that our party would
win the Anuradhapura Municipal Council. How can you say that when you
couldn't even retain your seat in Parliament? Win and show your might,"
he said. "Yes, I will do that but thereafter you will have to step down
from the leadership," Lull-Khan said.
Greens to use CMC election as a referendum
The Love-Slave camp has instructed almost all Elephant Party
organisers in the electorates in the Colombo Municipal to refrain from
making an active contribution in Moosa-Mill's election campaign. "Treat
this as a referendum to keep the current party leader or not. If Moosa-Mill
wins, it could be interpreted as a mandate for the leader to remain. If
Moosa-Mill loses, we could resume our campaign with more vigour,"
Love-Slave said. |
