Workshop for cricket umpires in Southern Province today

CRICKET: The Association of Cricket Umpires Sri Lanka (ACUSL) and the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association (SLSCA) will hold a workshop for all cricket umpires in the districts of Galle, Matara and Hambantota today (20th) at the Galle International Cricket Stadium commencing at 9 a.m.

A panel comprising H. N. M. C. Dhanasinghe, Dilshan de Silva (Secretary, ACUSL), Kapila Jayalath (Treasurer SLSCA), Vidura Prasad and Nishantha Kumara (Tournament Secretary - under 19 SLSCA) will elaborate and speak on the rules and regulations of the ongoing under 13 and under 19 cricket tournaments being conducted by the SLSCA.Wasantha Fernando CEO of the Academy of Business Studies will lecture on 'Positive thinking as an cricket umpire.'
