Lankan driver aims at ‘World’s Toughest Trucker’
 Eight truck drivers from six countries will put their driving skills
to the test in a new eight-episode Discovery Channel series,World’s
Toughest Trucker, premiering on Monday, February 13, in the United
States. The series will be shown in Asia soon.
The new series features eight truck drivers from the United States,
Canada, England, Scotland, Australia and Sri Lanka. All are competing
for a $150,000 prize. The Sri Lankan driver is the only driver from a
developing country.
The producers said that the show will feature “The world’s most
fearless truck drivers in some of the world’s most feared locations.”
They are challenged to navigate the most extreme routes across four
continents. |
