India's Southern Army Commander Lt. Gen. A.K. Singh is due in Sri
Lanka tomorrow on a four-day visit to strengthen bilateral military ties
between the two nations.
"The Army Commander will proceed on a goodwill visit and call on the
Chiefs of Sri Lanka's Security Forces and meet the Defence Secretary
there," officials said. During the visit, Lt Gen Singh will discuss
issues relating to mutual cooperation and defence engagements.
