HNB wins Best Retail Bank in Sri Lanka Award for 2011

Hatton National Bank(HNB) won the Best Retail Bank in Sri Lanka Award for 2011 during the 11th International Excellence in Retail Financial Services Awards Program. The Bank received the award at 'The International Excellence in Retail Financial Services 2012 Awards ceremony', held in conjunction with the Excellence in Retail Financial Services Convention. The ceremony was held at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on March 23. HNB won the award for the fifth consecutive year.

The honour was given to HNB in recognition of its market leadership among private sector commercial banks in housing loans, leasing and consumer lending. These are manifested in its portfolio growth in 2011, across various business lines. This also highlights the evidence to indicate the bank's peerless success as a retail bank in Sri Lanka's growing market.
