Amadahara Vesak Zone from May 5-7

The Amadahara Vesak Zone organised annually by the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd (ANCL) will be held in the ANCL precints from May 5-7.

Sri Lanka Telecom will extend patronage this year too. The Vesak lantern exhibition and competition and Buddhist devotional songs will be the highlights of the program. ANCL Chairman and Managing Director Bandula Padmakumara and members of the Board of Directors will open the Vesak Zone on May 5.

Economic Development Deputy Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, Buddhasasana and Religious Affairs Deputy Minister M.K.D.S. Gunawardena and Media Ministry Secretary W.B. Ganegala will open the Vesak Zone on May 6 and 7.
