Japanese Deputy PM to visit Sri Lanka
The Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Katsuya Okada and Australian
Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Chris Bowen will arrive here
next week on a state visit.
The Japanese delegate will meet President Mahinda Rajapaksa and
External Affairs Minister Prof. G. L. Peiris among others. Okada was
appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister in a partial Cabinet reshuffle by
the Japanese Premier Yoshihiko Noda in January this year.
The Australian Minister is expected to arrive here on Wednesday. He
will be in Colombo for two days.
