The ‘Thun Korala Kelani Nade’ sixth annual inter-school cricket
encounter between Ruwanwella Rajasinghe National School and Yatiyanthota
Dr. N.M. Perera National School will be played on March 15 at the
Rajasinghe National School grounds at 10 a.m. Of the five encounters
that had been played so far, the Ruwanwella Rajasinghe National School
and Yatiyanthota Dr. N.M. Perera National School have two wins each
while another encounter has ended in a draw.
Ruwanwella Rajasinghe National School will be led by H.A.N.
Sandaruwan who will be captaining the team for the third successive
year. The Yatiyanthota Dr. N.M. Perera National School team will have
B.L. Mendis as captain. Science and Technology Senior Minister Tissa
Vitharane, Telecommunication, Information Technology Minister Ranjit
Siyambalapitiya, Livestock and Rural Community Development Minister H.R.
Mithrapala and Kegalle District MP Y.G. Padmasiri will be the chief
guests.
