Pakistan’s Afridi eyes 2015 World Cup
KARACHI, April 13 (AFP) - Veteran allrounder
Shahid Afridi said Thursday he is targeting the 2015 World Cup after
returning to the Pakistan side, but vowed to quit if he became a
burden on the team. The 33-year-old was left out of the squad for
the one-day series against India in December before staging a
comeback for the tour of South Africa, but his woeful run of form
has continued.

Thurstan College’s Minhaj Jaleel kept up his
lead in the Platinum Division of Schools in the Observer-Telecom
Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year 2013 of the Schoolboy
Cricketer of the Year Competition. Earlier Jaleel had the lead with
24,201 votes and he increased the lead to 27,761 votes after last
week’s count.
