Sailor missing after navy boat capsizes

A sailor went missing and two others were hospitalised when a Navy boat capsized during the Victory Day Parade yesterday morning.

Four sailors on board on the Arrow Craft were thrown overboard when the boat capsized during the parade. Three of them were rescued and rushed to the National Hospital, Colombo. They were admitted to the Emergency Treatment Unit and their condition was not serious, hospital sources said.

Navy spokesman, Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said the Navy salvaged the 17-feet boat last evening.
