The monthly meeting of the Kandy Sports Development Foundation (KSDF) on October 14 at the Kandy Secretariat under the Chairmanship of Member of Parliament Lohan Ratwatte in the chair, drew up a list of activities that will benefit the sportsmen and sportswomen of the Kandy area.

The Sports Development Foundation planned out the activities for the coming two months – that’s November and December so that various organisations will be able to be prepared in time.

The activities to be held are:

(a) A standard test in athletics for 200 selected boys and girls under 13 years of age.
(b) A Sports Medicine programme for the officers of the State Services.
(c) A netball Coaching Camp to be held at Gatambe M.C. Playgrounds and
(d) Judo Training Programme at the Peradeniya Gymnasium.
