‘Govt’s progressive policies won people’s harts’

Deputy Investment Promotion Minister Faiszer Musthapha said that people voted for the Government because of its progressive policies and not that the Opposition is weak. The vast majority of the people have rallied round the Government as it has won the hearts of the minorities.

A white elephant turned into a pro-people institution - WPC Chief Minister

The term of the present Council ends in May next year. Elections for the WPC is due to be held after May 2014. However, there is no final decision. Although the media is rife that WPC elections are to be held in April next year, we have not discussed it at official level.
