Village-House thrives on contracts
Kind Village-House is making hay while the sun shines through
Colombo’s city beautification contracts though the Greens often
criticise such projects. When the media highlighted that Village-House
had failed to meet the construction deadlines due to his limited staff,
he said that he has nothing to do with it and that it was his son who
handles them. But, surprisingly, he was seen walking along the city
pavements and personally supervising the work.
Ra-Blue takes on Love-Slave
Ra-Blue made maximum use of the Speaker’s biography launch to have a
dig at Saa-jeet, the Love-Slave. He told a packed house which included
the Prez and many VVIPs, that anybody aspiring to lead a political party
should first and foremost cultivate the habit of patience. An irate
Love-Slave who occupied a backbench at the event, chose to ignore it.
Kind-Siri on crossovers
Kind-Siri has questioned the accuracy of the rumour that Sun
Kind-Leader is trying to emulate him and contest the Western PC polls
from the governing types to become the minister that is chief. But he
was told that Kind-Leader would never be entertained, even if he pays
out of his pocket. Thereupon, Kind-Siri whispered as to whether Raw-See,
the ageing beauty, would do likewise. The boss said a firm no but added,
“Unless you want her”.
Disgruntled Greens talk to Lull-Kanth
Three disgruntled Green Em Pees are working behind the scenes to form
a new political party which they claim to be an alliance of crestfallen
You-En-Piers and Opposition political parties. They held a secret
meeting with Lull-Kanth who is to contest the Bell Boys’ chief
ministerial candidate for the Western PC. |
